Many of us are going to be manipulated into feeling like sh*t because we are single this Valentine’s Day. So, I am dedicating this post on why NOT to feel like sh*t, and actually feel fantastic. And just for the record, I am a hopeless romantic. I LOVE being in love, but I also love myself, enjoy my own company, and work on my own passions when I’m not in a relationship.

Anyway, here’s my post about Valentine’s Day:
“I never found a companion that was so companionable as solitude.” — Henry David Thoreau
“My alone feels so good, I’ll only have you if you’re sweeter than my solitude.” – Warsan Shire
"I’m single because I was born that way.” – Mae West
“I don’t like to be labeled as lonely just because I am alone.” – Delta Burke
“I think it’s very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not defined by another person.” – Oscar Wilde
“Single is not a status. It is a word that best describes a person who is strong enough to live and enjoy life without depending on others.” – Unknown.
“You cannot be lonely if you like the person you’re alone with.” – Wayne Dyer
“Being single is pretty good. It’s a nice sense of irresponsibility.” – Michael Dougla. s
“You do not need to be loved, not at the cost of yourself. The single relationship that is truly central and crucial in life is the relationship to the s
elf. Of all the people you will know in a lifetime, you are the only one you will never lose.” – Jo Coudert.
“You don’t need a significant other to lead a significant life.” ― Mandy Hale
