When Someone Wakes You Up
Sometimes you meet someone and feel something shift.
You may not know what to call it, or what to do with it. You just notice that you feel more alert. More curious. More alive. A regular day has a little more color in it, and you find yourself carrying that feeling with you. Maybe you even sing offtune aloud in your car.

That can be confusing. Especially when the situation is complicated, or when some things might be better left unsaid. The feeling is still real, even if you don’t have a clear place to put it.
Maybe the first thing is to stop treating it like a problem that needs an immediate solution. Attraction can be powerful without being an instruction. It can remind you that you’re still open to connection, still capable of excitement, still able to be moved by another person.
Sometimes another person brings something back into focus: the parts of yourself that want closeness, playfulness, attention, or a little more color in an ordinary day. The spark may have come from meeting them, but the energy it stirred belongs to you. You get to decide what to do with it.
You can let it remind you to pay attention to your life. To make room for connection, curiosity, and moments that make you feel present. You don’t have to define the feeling right away or know where it’s going.
Not every feeling needs an answer. Some arrive, wake something up, and leave you with a clearer sense of what you still want to feel.
That can matter all on its own.
